National Archives of Malaysia

In July 2017 Crispin Bates visited for a second time the Arkib Negara Malaysia (or National Archives of Malaysia). It is one of the most advanced and voluminous archives in Asia and a rich resource for the study of the history of South Asian overseas migration. As in Singapore, a large portion of their collections have been digitised and a detailed computerised index is available.
