Lunch and poetry at Marcel & Sons, Saturday 10th October: Our favourite Mauritian Cafe, Marcel & Sons, laid on a feast of Mauritian inspired delights to accompany our small exhibition Migration and ‘Coolie’ identity which gives a wonderful introduction to the history of nineteenth century migration to Mauritius.
Poet Khal Torabully brought the subject to life with a thought-provoking introduction to Coolitude.
