Professor Crispin Bates and Dr Marina Carter travelled to Myanmar to delve into the national archives for the project research. As their photographs show, Mosques, Hindu Temples, and Colonial Buildings in Yangon attest to the profound and continuing impact of colonial migration on the economy and society of Myanmar.
